Privacy policy

• Identity: name (as on your passport), father's name, gender, date and place of birth, photo.
• ID documents: passport number and the first / last pages; or, for students registered by the institute without a passport yet, the Aadhaar number and the card's front / back (the passport follows later).
• Contact: email, mobile number and postal address.
• Eligibility and Form 15T: the eligibility categories with their evidence, a Certificate of Recognition or student ID card where asked, previous exam attempts, training, work experience, supporting documents and your signature.
• Exams: the modules you buy and book, sessions, reschedules, results and marks.
• Payments: amounts, dates, invoices and the Razorpay payment references. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's payment window and are never seen or stored by us.
• Security: sign-in attempts (email, time and IP address) to stop password guessing, and a record of what institute staff do on your registration.

The institute may also add the records of its former candidates (name, contact details and exam history) from its own files. They are invited to sign in, and can ask for correction or erasure like anyone else.

• to sell exam modules, book and reschedule your exams, and record your results;
• to issue invoices (GST tax invoices) and keep the accounts the law requires;
• to send you emails about your registration, payments, bookings, exam reminders and new exam sessions;
• to keep the portal secure and prevent fraud or duplicate registrations.

We use your data only for these purposes and collect only what they need. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

• You, in your account.
• Institute staff, each only what their role needs: the Exam Office sees registrations, documents, bookings and results; Accounts sees payments and invoices; the institute's Admin (who runs the portal) can see everything. Every staff action on your registration is logged.
• Service providers who help run the portal: Hostinger (web hosting: the portal and your data are stored on its servers), Razorpay (payments), Google Workspace (email delivery) and Google reCAPTCHA (the check against automated sign-ups and sign-ins). They use your data only to provide their service to us, on our instructions.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

• The portal sets one cookie, needed to keep you signed in. It ends when you sign out or close the browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Google reCAPTCHA (on the registration and sign-in pages) and Razorpay's payment window set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.

• Uploaded documents are stored outside the public website and are shown only to you and authorised staff after sign-in.
• Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody, including the institute, can read them.
• Your Aadhaar number is shown masked (XXXX XXXX 1234) everywhere except your record for authorised staff, and is never exported in full.
• Sessions end automatically after a period without activity.
• In your own browser: while you fill in the registration form, your answers and chosen files are kept in your browser so you can continue later (never your password). They are removed when your registration payment succeeds. On a shared computer, finish the registration or clear the browser's site data. The portal also remembers your place on a page for a few seconds when you switch tabs or filters (no personal data).
• When you press "Pay now": your completed registration form and documents are saved on our server, outside the public website, so that your registration can be completed even if your connection drops after you pay. Your password is saved only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• If something goes wrong: if a breach of your personal data happens, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.

• Your registration, Form 15T, exam history and results are kept permanently as exam records: you may need them as proof of your exams for your licence.
• Invoices and payment records are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax and company law require.
• Sign-in records are kept for 1 year, then deleted automatically.
• A rejected registration is kept so that the same passport number and email can't be registered again.
• A registration form saved when you pressed "Pay now" but never paid for is deleted, with its documents, after 7 days.

• See and correct: you can see your details in My Profile and update your contact and address details there. To correct your name, date of birth or ID details, contact the institute.
• Ask about your data: what we hold about you and who it has been shared with.
• Withdraw consent or ask for erasure: we will stop using your data where the law allows; records we must keep (e.g. invoices, exam results) are kept, and without your data we can't continue your registration or exams.
• Nominate someone: you can name another person to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to. Tell us in writing.
• Complain: contact us first (below). If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

You give your consent when you tick "I agree" while registering or completing your registration. Candidates registered by the institute give it when they complete their registration.

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
