Terms and conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old, and every detail and document you give must be true, complete and your own.
• One account per person: your passport number (or Aadhaar number), email and mobile number can each be used on one account only.
• Self-registered candidates must show at least 2 of the eligibility categories, each with evidence.
• Candidates who must fill in Form 15T must answer Yes to Part-66 training attended or to recent aviation experience; without either you are not eligible for the module exams.

• The institute checks your documents. It may ask you to upload a document again or to send another one; your registration is reviewed again after you do.
• Your candidate UID is given only when your registration is approved. You can't buy or book exam modules before that.
• The institute may reject a registration with invalid, false or fraudulent documents. The details of a rejected registration are kept, so the same passport number and email can't be registered again.

• All fees include 18% GST. Online payments are made through Razorpay, and an invoice (a GST tax invoice) is issued for each one, in your account under My Payments and by email.
• Registration fee: Rs. 5,000 (self-registered candidates). It is not refundable, also when a registration is rejected.
• Exam modules: each module has its own fee (from Rs. 20,000), shown on Buy Modules. One module fee covers up to 3 attempts (see below). You can also buy all modules together, paid in full or in 2 installments, at the prices shown on Buy Modules; the first installment lets you book the number of modules stated there, and the rest open with the second installment.
• Reschedule fee: Rs. 5,000 for each paid reschedule (see "Rescheduling").
• Re-booking fee: Rs. 5,000 for booking an exam again after being absent.
• Refunds: fees are not refunded, including when you are absent on the exam day. The one exception: if a payment is taken but the portal could not complete your registration or purchase, the institute either completes it for you or refunds the full amount to the account you paid from.
• Candidates registered by the institute (its course students and airline-nominated candidates) pay the institute directly, as agreed with it; no online payment is taken from them in the portal.
• The price you pay is the one shown when you pay. A later change of fees never changes a payment already made.

• After buying a module you book a seat in an exam session on Book Seats; booking itself is free. Seats are given in the order they are booked and depend on availability.
• You can take at most 7 modules in one exam session, and you can't have two exams at the same date and time.
• Booking for a session closes 7 days before its first exam.
• Each exam session has a fixed date, start time and venue, shown when you book and in your reminder emails.

• Each module purchase allows up to 3 date changes in total: reschedules, and bookings again after being absent. The first reschedule of a purchase is free; every other reschedule costs Rs. 5,000, and booking again after being absent Rs. 5,000. A new purchase of the module starts again with 3 changes.
• Rescheduling is possible until booking for that session closes, 7 days before the session's first exam (if the first exam is on the 20th, the last day is the 13th, for every module of that session).
• When all 3 changes are used you can still sit the exam you are booked for. If you need another date after that, or are absent from it, the module must be bought again: My Bookings offers Forfeit & buy again, which gives up that booking and buys the module again at its current fee.
• For candidates registered by the institute, the institute books and moves exams for them.

• One module fee gives up to 3 attempts. Only a Pass or Fail counts as an attempt. After a Fail you can book the next attempt free of charge.
• 3 fails in a row block that module for one year from the date of the last failed exam. After that it can be bought again. Fails in a row are not reset when a module is bought again for another reason (for example after the date changes ran out): only the one-year block ends them.
• Absent (Not Performed): it does not count as an attempt and no fee is refunded. Self-registered candidates can book the exam again for Rs. 5,000 while the purchase has date changes left (this uses 1 change); otherwise the module must be bought again. For candidates registered by the institute, an absence ends that fee and the module must be paid for again.
• Pass: the module is complete and can't be booked again.
• Results are entered by the institute after the exam. Pass or Fail follows the module's marking scheme (its total marks and pass mark; for modules marked per question, every question must reach its pass mark).
• Modules you declared on Form 15T as passed elsewhere are not offered; a module declared as failed elsewhere is blocked for one year from that exam date.

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account. For your safety you are signed out after 30 minutes without activity.
• Keep your email address working: registration, payment, booking and result emails are sent there. If emails to it bounce, the portal stops sending them until the address is corrected.
• You can update your contact and address details in My Profile. Your name, date of birth and ID details can only be changed by the institute.
• The institute may suspend an account or cancel bookings made with false information.

The institute may update these terms, the fees and the exam rules. The current version is always on this page. Changes never alter a payment already made or an all-module package already bought.
